A full 60% of the infants born after 28 weeks of pregnancy or less are prone to respiratory distress syndrome (RDS). The lungs of these infants are underdeveloped, and the required gas exchange cannot take place. Hence their breathing needs external support.
The 3 in 1 (Flow – Bubble - Hiflow) nCPAP 300 is a simple continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) system designed to provide support to fragile infants suffering from RDS. nCPAP 300 prevents airway closure and maintains the functional residual capacity. It has been ergonomically designed and is remarkably easy to operate.
Due to its large screen, the nCPAP can also be used to monitor sleep apnea with its inbuilt Sleep Apnea timer. This can be set to give off an alarm if breathing isn’t detected for 5,10,15 and 20 seconds. It also has battery backup of 1 hour
Clinicians can be focused on attending to the infant with the satisfaction of providing the best solution through nCPAP
