Servo-I combines a high level of clinical performance for invasive, non-invasive or neurally controlled ventilation with outstanding mobility design and cost efficiency. It features all the modes you would expect from an advanced ventilation system in an adaptable platform.

Four basic configurations are available:

  • SERVO-i Infant
  • SERVO-i Adult
  • SERVO-i Universal Basic Edition
  • SERVO-i Universal Extended Edition

SERVO-i Infant and SERVO-i Adult can always be upgraded to SERVO-i Universal. All Servo-i ventilator configurations are effective for bedside use and most of them are also available in MRI and HBO editions.Unique features and upgrades can be added as your needs change, ensuring dependable performance in the years to come and the best possible return on your investment.
The Servo-i ventilator fulfills the requirements in the most recent standards concerning performance, accuracy and safety. The typical ICU must be able to cope with any combination of patient and clinical situations at all times. SERVO-i® features all the ventilator modes you would expect from an advanced ventilation system, with a number of competitive features.Servo-i enhances interaction between the patient and the ventilator by offering unprecedented levels of speed in sensing and control. It further provides clinicians with proper tools to evaluate the impact of your ventilatory strategy, both over time and during the critical phase associated with interventions.Neurally Adjusted Ventilatory Assist (NAVA)NAVA® is a unique approach to mechanical ventilation as it listens to the patient’s own respiratory signal. With NAVA, the electrical activity of the diaphragm (Edi) is captured, fed to the ventilator and used to assist the patient’s breathing, with improved synchrony and in proportion to the patient’s own efforts.1 Research has also shown that patients on NAVA benefit from an improved sleep quality, which may reduce sedation. The risk of ventilator induced diaphragm dysfunction is also reduced and NAVA may even have the potential to reduce time on mechanical ventilation.Edi signalThe Edi signal is a diagnostic tool that monitors the electrical activity of the diaphragm (Edi). This provides useful information on respiratory drive, volume requirements and the effect of your ventilatory settings, information that supports your decision for intubation or extubation.  An increasing Edi may signify increasing weakness or worsening of the patient condition. As the patient’s condition improves, the decreasing Edi amplitude and the pressure drop indicate that weaning and extubation should be considered.OPEN LUNG TOOLThe OPEN LUNG TOOL® provides an instrument for effectively determining the effect of a ventilator intervention. It provides guidance for a successful recruitment maneuver.AUTOMODEAUTOMODE® supports patient. Set a controlled mode and let the ventilator adapt to the current patient situation, switching between controlled and supported breathing in connection with patient effort. The control mode is initiated after an operator set time-out. This well-established mode provides smoother, safer patient transition and less staff intervention. For continuity of care with no loss of treatment information, SERVO-i is available for Magnetic resonance imaging (MR) and for Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO*).Depending on your ventilator needs and the patient groups you treat, the Servo-i ventilator also offers the following features:

  • Invasive ventilation
  • Non-invasive ventilation with leakage compensation
  • Tidal Volume: 2ml – 4000ml
  • CO2 Analyzer for end tidal carbon dioxide measurement that may give important insight into the efficiency of the ventilation.
  • Y sensor measurement, for neonatal/pediatric and adult patients. Enables measurement of pressure and flow as close to the patient’s airway as possible.
  • Nasal CPAP
  • Heliox - gives a more laminar flow that reduces work of breathing
  • Stress Index - will monitor hyperinflation or repeated alveolar collapse, thus allowing the identification of injurious ventilation (VILI).7
  • Ventilation Record Card to facilitate research work and presentations.
  • Maquet ventilator accessories and consumables that are fully tested and designed to work optimally with SERVO ventilators.

ConsumablesMaquet has designed a full range of consumables such as Filters/Humidifiers, Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV) Mask, Re-useable & Disposable Breathing System, Neonatal Nasal Prong & Mask etc, and all  Maquet consumables:

  • are fully tested and approved
  • are made of top quality material and design
  • guarantee full capabilities and performance
  • minimize risk for unplanned downtime and ensures optimum performance throughout the system's lifecycle
